East End living offers unparalleled inspiration to artists of all mediums. Whether it be on canvas, paper or in your home, the coastal influences are abundant. Owner and interior designer Debra Gildersleeve of Renee’s in Mattituck often draws from her North Fork surroundings when creating functional yet beautiful living spaces for clients across the East End into Manhattan, and now in Florida as well. Her personal style is what ultimately helped transform the store from just a women’s clothing store into a luxury department store, complete with two showrooms and a design center.
